Any advice or ideas regarding where and how I can find help for a sick child would be appreciated. I've been reading up on government info as well as any info I can find via google but I'm not really getting anywhere yet. Any help or a push in the right direction would really make my day
Hi, I'm Aurora. I'm actually an Aplastic Anemia Survivor, (sever aplastic anemia survvor.) I can only give my hope for you and your family. I've no money to give, but hope is stronger than that (go to my aidpage area and see what I mean.)
Aplastic Anemia has a 80% cure rate, her chances are very good.
Stay Strong. You may or may not be Catholic but still.
Dear God Won’t You send a sign down, just to ease my doubt I’m trying to hear You, but the silence is so loud I think I see a rainbow from behind the clouds And I hear You now, I see you now, Wont you help me now. Amen
Hi. I'm here to ask for help on behalf of my 17 year old niece, Taylor. She lives in Ohio with her mom, dad and younger sister. Up to a few months ago, she was a senior in high school, planning for prom and graduation, looking for a job and truly enjoying her life. She started getting sores on her legs and body and noticed she was bruising very easily. So her mom took her to the Dr., who ran some blood tests on her. The next day they received a phone call telling them to get her to the emergency room right away. Her red and white blood cells were unbelievably low. After more testing they discovered she has a terrible life threatening disease called Severe Aplastic Anemia. She started getting blood transfusions twice a week to keep her counts in a reasonable range and she was also put on several medicines. Any infection could be life threatening. Her mom, dad and 5 year old sister were tested for a bone marrow match, and none will work. She has started an alternative treatment until a bone marrow match can be found. The medicines and treatments are very expensive and the family needs help badly. Here is a link with more information about this disease http://www.marrow.org/PATIENT/Undrstnd_Disease_Treat/Lrn_about_Disease/Aplastic_Anemia/index.html
